According to data
from the Official Charts Company, the album “21” is the fourth best-selling
album of all time after making over 4,562,000 sales in the United Kingdom.
Released in early 2011, the album has surpassed Oasis’ album
“The Story (Morning Glory)” which sold 4,555,000 copies and was at the fourth
position.
She is now half a million behind the third biggest selling
album from Abba titled “Gold – Greatest Hits” which sold 5,046,000 copies.
The first best seller in the UK is Queen’s “Greatest Hits”
album which sold 5,866,000 since it was released in 1981.
The album has since its release sold over 25 million copies
across the globe and it is still counting.
