About Founder (Yaw Sarpong)
It was founded by Ghanaian blogger Yaw Sarpong, with contribution spanning across Ghana, Africa and World's showbiz in the areas of music, movie, events, tourism and more.
Yaw is a graduate from the University of Ghana where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and English in 2012. He is also an alumnus of Kumasi Academy and Highbury International School in Kumasi and Accra, respectively.
His portfolio goes a long way to the growing success of online news joint OMGGhana.com where he contributed to many stories on the tabloid, from November 2011 to December 2012. Prior to this, he was a Reporter for campus-based online news-portal CampusFocus between 2009 to 2011, where he developed his news reporting, writing and publishing skills, during his time at the University of Ghana.
He is also credited with writing the professional biography of ace Ghanaian highlife/hiplife musician Wutah-Kobby.
