DKB To Shoot Video For ‘Winner’ As It Hits Over 20,000 Downloads

DKB's controversial song ‘Winner’ featuring Nigerian comedian Hogan, has gained popularity, following the remarkable performances of the Ghana Black Stars team, chalking more than 20,000 downloads online.

The Ghana versus Nigeria song has grown to become people's most preferred song to celebrate wins achieved by the Black stars. It is therefore not surprising that both the young and old show their ‘Azonto’ moves to the Afro pop song anytime Ghana scores in the on-going Nations Cup tournament. The same feat is reported in Nigeria, whenever the Super Eagles scores in the tournament.

The theme of the song ‘Winner’ is the major factor for the increase in patronage as both countries want to claim the winner authority over the other.

The song was released about three weeks ago and premiered in Accra on Yfm, Pravda Radio; Kumasi- Angel FM, Kapital Radio; Tamale: Bishara Radio; Koforidua: Vision FM; Takoradi: Skyy FM etc with major premier in Nigeria on Hot FM in Abuja coupled with major online releases on 233times.com, peacfmonline.com, Bigxgh.com, ameyawdebrah.com, worldghana.com, urbanroll.com, modernghana.com, spyghana.com, loudsoundgh.com, ghanafilla.net, lurickconcept.com etc, accounting for the impressive downloads.

According to DKB "we want to give Ghanaians and our brothers from Nigeria an unforgettable video that would celebrate the song, our varied cultures etc, so we are opening casting for any interested Ghanaian or Nigerian who would want to flaunt their national pride in the video to get in touch on 0248185848 to be featured in the video"

But the question still remains: "Ghana vrs Nigeria - Who be the winner?"
