Season 1 of the
most-anticipated reality show, Spirited Actor, will finally make its debut on
screen today at 8pm today, 10 February 2013 at 8pm on Viasat1.
Organised by Samad Davis, Tracey Moore, and Duke Banson, Spirited Actor, designed to transform raw talents into renowned actors, will run for 10 weeks on Viasat1.
‘Spirited Actor’ will pick 10 contestants, five from Ghana and five from Nigeria after the auditions. The ten short listed would be flown to New York in the United States with all expenses paid.
It will take the 10 finalists through all kinds of training to equip them with quality acting basics. They will also enjoy the luxury of getting trained by Celebrity Acting Coach Tracey Moore and Hollywood stars such as Anthony Anderson, Rockmond Dunbar, Romany Malco, Laz Alonso and more.
The ultimate winner will receive a one-year contract with Hollywood agents and co-starring role in a US feature film, produced by Davis.
Accompanying Tracey is Hollywood actor Rockmond Dunbar of Prison Break, and Samad Davis, one of the finest directors, also known for his works on 5Five’s Mujebaya video.
