Rising Ghanaian actress,
Ella Mensah, has said she is open to play a romantic scene with
Ghanaian – Liberian actor Frank Artus. Ella was speaking exclusively to Viasat1 News Online about her career, after her comeback to the movie industry.
She said Frank is the most gentle actor she has ever seen in movie, adding that “he’s great, I like the way he treats females on set.” Ella Mensah is looking forward to being on location with Frank next month. She toldViasat1 News Online exclusively that Majid Michel and John Dumelo are both great actors but Frank has an edge over the two with his on-set persona.
Growing up, the 25-year-old says she has lived with her mother all her life. Her interest in acting began during her days at Nifa High School in Akwapim-Akropong in the Eastern Region. “That’s when I realised acting is my calling,” Ella said.
Ella started acting in 2008 and debuted in ‘Crime to Christ.’ Six months later, after featuring in ‘Her Excellency,’ Ella left Ghana for South Africa. She bounced back to the industry in 2011 and made an instant impact with Venus Production movie – Bed of Roses.
Asked how the journey has been so far, Ella said she is yet to face any challenge, but is not ruling out any. According to her, she has had a perfect relationship with movie producers and is looking forward to spreading her wings in the industry.
Ella has featured in several productions, including Play Boy, Pretty Queen, Bed of Roses and Deadline. She currently stars in ‘Living with Trisha’, which shows on Viasat 1 every Wednesday at 8:00pm.
